INDONESIA become the most successful team in the Thomas Cup badminton championships since this son team began to take place in 1949, a team of "Red and White" has been 13 times champions. The terms (dictionary) in sports badminton / badminton which is widely used in international games are as follows:
01. Alley: is an area measuring 1.5 feet on the left and right field for a game of badminton doubles.
02. Back Alley: is the area between the back boundary line with the long service line for a double game.
03. Back Court: is the field area in the back boundary line.
04. Balk or Feint: every movement is a deceptive trick the opponent before or during service.
05. Baseline: is the back boundary line at the end of the field, parallel to the net.
06. Carry or Sling or Thow: is unlawful tactics where players throw a racket during stroke.
07. Center or Base Position: is the position of center field for a single player to return any refund shuttlecock.
08. Center Line: is the median line that divides the field into two parts left and right service.
09. Clear: is right and telling blow at the back boundary line opponent.
10. Court: is the badminton field of restricted outer boundary line.
11. Drive: is a fast and low blows that make the shuttlecock over the net horizontal glide.
12. Drop Shot: shuttlecock is hit softly falling fast in front of the opponent's net.
13. Fault: a fault rules, either perform the service, reception or during the game.
14. Fore Court: is the front field area, between the net and service lines short.
15. Hairpin Net Shot:'s a blow below and very close to the net when the shuttle rose and fell precisely the opposite field.
16. Halfcourt Shot: is a low blow in the middle of the field, effectively used to play doubles against the formation of up-and-back.
17. Kill or Put Away: a fast and low blows that can not be returned by the opponent.
18. Lt: is a legitimate dismissal during the game that allows the game is repeated.
19. Long Service Line: is the rear boundary lines in a single game. Line 2.5 feet inside the back line in a double game, where the serving may not cross this line.
20. Match: is a game to determine the winner.
21. Midcourt: is the third of the field, half of the net and the back boundary line.
22. Net Shot: a blow at the net that fell quickly in the field opposite.
23. Push Shot: a blow gently by pushing the shuttlecock with wrist movement, usually from the net or the middle of the field into the middle of the field opposite.

History of the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup in Indonesia.

Badminton is a sport that is very popular, especially in Indonesia is second only to sport Football. World badminton championship at the very top of the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup.
The name is taken from the Thomas and Uber legendary players in world badminton. Thomas Cup is an international badminton championship for men's team number which is held every two years. Thomas Cup was taken from the name of the chairman of the IBF as well as the first British player who has won Legendari Badminton All England four times in succession between the years 1903-1927 is Sir George Alan Thomas, who at the same time he also became a pioneer for the World Competition held in the Sports tepok fur is the same as in Sports Football World Cup.
